Operation in brief:


This accessory is an option which makes it possible to operate identical to that of a conventional electric bicycle:

 

When the crankset turns, the sensor detects it and the motor sends power, to help the rider, without the rider pulling the trottel.

 

You can adjust the power of the electric mountain bike motor, from 0 to 100% thanks to the wheel towards the stem.

 

The trigger on the handlebars will also remain active even if you are not pedaling, which allows you to remain effective when crossing because you can accelerate without pedaling.

 


1 / Operation in detail:

Our kit generally works only with the throttle lever on the handlebars to manage assistance.
This trigger solution is more efficient in crossing and allows to reduce consumption, we therefore consider this crankest movement sensor as an option, which can be added to your kit during the purchase or later.

This proposed option is a crank motion sensor with a power regulator.
This allows, as with a conventional electric bike, to detect when the pilot is pedaling in order to send a motor power chosen between 0 and 100% without any action on the trigger (like a classic electric mountain bike).
The sensor has a 2-position ON / OFF pushbutton.
-1- In the OFF position (when the button is pushed).
The regulator is disconnected, in this case only the trigger activates the motor as on the basic kit.
-2-In the ON position (when the button is pulled).
The sensor detects when the crankset turns, in order to send the power to the motor, the button which is a potentiometer, turns in order to have an under adjustment between 0% and 100% of the power of the mountain bike electric motor, more precisely and faster and more accurate than management by different modes found in our competitors.
Note that the trigger always has priority.
In other words, if the regulator is in the ON position, with 50% power adjustment, you can accelerate without pedaling, or accelerate to 100% with the trigger.
In technical passages we prefer the use of the trigger only, which will be much more efficient, the regulator will then generally be put in the OFF position.
- As with the trigger There is no maximum speed limit even with the governor.
- This regulator, like the kit, is not approved on open roads.

2 / Fixing the sensor:

 

There is a support for bottom type bb92 and for bottom type BSA, BB30 and PF30.


 

3 / Connection.

 

The connection is simple, there are two plugs which connect in series on the original circuit between the lever and the controller for models between 2013 and August 2020, after August 2020 the harness has plugs waiting for connection

 

The system can therefore be easily adapted without modifications even if your kit is not originally equipped.

 

The regulator is compatible with all LIFT MTB kits produced from 2013.
