Is the Freewheel PRO compatible with a classic kit?
The PRO LIFT MTB freewheel is compatible with the PRO & CLASSIC version from V1 to V4.
The spider is different from the classic version so it will be necessary to replace it if you have a classic version, the freewheel center (part with a square footprint of 22mm diameter and a thread is identical between the pro and classic version, however it is sometimes difficult to remove it from the freewheel so you can either order the tool and disassemble your old freewheel center, or buy a new freewheel center
